To top off our community of compassionate team members, you get to experience coming to teach in the most beautiful and peaceful farm setting, spending as much time as nature allows outside learning and exploring with your class and taking time in God’s creation, not behind a desk or in front of a chalkboard all day!
And if that isn’t enough of a perk, we have a flexible schedule of teaching options from one hour a week, one day a week or three days a week! We are putting families back in focus in our educational journey. Families that learn together, grow together!
As we function in the form of a one room schoolhouse and giant outdoor classroom our mentors will walk through our guided homeschool support days assisting and guiding students through exploring new skills and topics, as well as developing fruits of the spirit, and pouring into the whole child.
Our “Welcome to the Farm Wednesday” field experts are passionate and equipped to create and lead their own classes on a topic, trade, unit study, craft, life skill, etc. You will meet with us to present your opportunity, create a summary/syllabus of exactly what your class will teach, how many learners you can accommodate, any material or class fees that are involved and how long it will last (ex. two hours each Wednesday for four weeks, a one time class on a specific Wednesday afternoon, etc.).
Our long-term goal is to have a farm store where our students can engage in entrepreneurial skills where they see from field to farm store how the works of our hands can turn into a life of value, serving others and a livelihood. This will be a place where our kids and families can bring their unique products to practice building a brand and get a hands-on opportunity to understand how a business functions.
